The town's plans for this event are beginning to take shape. A special page has been set up and will be kept up to date as plans are finalised. Please ALL have a look. 

Wedow Rd Planning Application - UPDATED.

The appeal hearing for the first application was held on January 4th at Uttlesford District Council Offices from 10am. The result will be communicated in a few weeks time.

The outline planning consent for the later application (UTT/1562/11/OP) has now been granted and the planning conditions attached to the consent have been signed off.

Thaxted is home to approximately 2,600 residents and is a thriving town that benefits from a semi-rural location, yet has many conveniences often found in larger towns.
